Erich Permanent Magnetic Pulley is a dual-purpose device. It functions as a drive pulley for the belt conveyor and at the same time provides an effective, automatic and a continuous removal of unwanted tramp iron from non-magnetic materials conveyed on the belt. The permanent magnetic pulley is basically composed of a set of rolled milled steel pole shoes having a high permeability. Electro magnetic and permanent magnetic either strontium ferrite or high power rare-earth magnets are used. The magnetic fields intensity is uniformly distributed across the entire surface. Magnets in the case of permanent magnetic and coils in case of electro magnetic are covered in aluminum or stainless steel.
